In the lovely St. Francis Episcopal Church in the Willow Glen neighborhood of San Jose, with nearby restaurants and free parking. The program includes Hildegarde of Bingen for string orchestra by Bay Area-based composer Anica Galindo, Ancient Airs and Dances Suite #3 for strings by Ottorino Respighi, and Mozart’s Violin Concerto #5 for soloist, strings, and paired oboes and horns, featuring Klein International String Competition Laureate Audrey Goodner as violin soloist. Audrey has been a featured soloist at Carnegie Hall.
The evening’s program is conducted by SJCO Associate conductor Anthony Quartuccio.
