Le Jazz Hot Quartet, part of the Hot Club of San Francisco, is a talented ensemble celebrating Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli’s Hot Club de France legacy. With violin, bass, and guitars, they revive 1930s jazz clubs’ vibe through innovative arrangements and original compositions by lead guitarist Paul Mehling. Their music, often dubbed gypsy jazz, has enchanted global audiences for 30+ years, praised by critics for its intricate brilliance. They perform worldwide, keeping this historic music alive and vibrant.
Jazz on the Plazz will run from June 26 through August 21 with a different jazz program each Wednesday night at 6:30 PM.
*General admission is free. This outdoor summer concert series presents world-renowned musicians in a friendly picnic atmosphere. Bring a picnic basket and a lawn chair and enjoy free seating or purchase reserved seating and specialty foods and wine online.
