Jessica Johnson, a singer-songwriter dedicated to bringing about positive change through her work in music, fitness, and dance. She grew up in San Jose and was first influenced by Judy Garland, Bing Crosby, and Fred Astaire. Her music ranges from jazz standards, to well-known R&B classics. Her original music is a fusion of jazz, R&B, funk, soul and pop. Jessica’s debut album “Till it Happens to You”, a collection of jazz standards & contemporary songs arranged with an intriguing original jazz twist. In 2015 she released three music videos “Love is Real”, “Road to Love” and “I am Yours”.
Jazz on the Plazz will run from June 26 through August 21 with a different jazz program each Wednesday night at 6:30 PM.
*General admission is free. This outdoor summer concert series presents world-renowned musicians in a friendly picnic atmosphere. Bring a picnic basket and a lawn chair and enjoy free seating or purchase reserved seating and specialty foods and wine online.
