Ira Glass performs his brand-new live show.
“…blends moments of delight and hilarity with glimpses of the soft underbelly of human experience. It’s magic.” — Santa Barbara Independent
“Mr. Glass is a journalist but also a storyteller who filters his interviews and impressions through a distinctive literary imagination, an eccentric intelligence, and a sympathetic heart.” — New York Times
Ira Glass, of NPR’s This American Life fame, is a master story-teller and a truly innovative artist, blending genres and breathing new life into traditional formats. He also happens to be Philip Glass’ cousin (here’s an adorable clip of the two of them on NPR: link).
Ira’s brand-new live show, Three Acts, Two Dancers, One Radio Host, premiered at Carnegie Hall to rave reviews and is now touring the country — including a stop in Carmel for the Days & Nights Festival! Featuring the incredibly talented dancers Monica Bill Barnes and Anna Bass.
