Don’t Miss Family Day with the groundbreaking film, Icarus at the Edge of Time.
Leading theoretical physicist Brian Greene is an ardent scientific populariser with a number of best-selling books to his name. His film, Icarus at the Edge of Time, which premiered at the World Science Festival, will feature a live performance of Philip Glass’ score conducted by Michael Riesman and Greene himself providing live narration. Glass and Greene will both take part in an audience Q&A.
The program will also include a screening of the Godfrey Reggio/Philip Glass short Anima Mundi. Described as, ”An extraordinary audio visual extravaganza … sets a new standard for nature videos. Outstanding.” — Video Librarian (Four Stars-Highest Rating).
