Join our community for a Memorial Day ceremony for Israel’s Fallen Soldiers and Victims of Terrorism. The evening will include songs, readings, presentations and remarks from community leaders, led by teens from our local community.
Immediately after the Memorial Day ceremony, the “Project Heroes” presentation will take place at the Albert and Janet Schultz Cultural Arts Hall (Bldg F).
This multimedia stage experience incorporates songs and videos with live music, together with touching documentary scenes and high-tech video artwork, effects and lighting. In the interest of maximizing accessibility for wide-reaching audiences, the storytelling and speaking parts are in English.
Singer-songwriter Gilad Segev, who leads the project, hopes that honoring and educating about these Jewish heroes and their historical counterparts will help instill a new sense of pride, healing, strength and unity for Jews, both in Israel and throughout the Diaspora.
