Each artist in Untitled Gesture offers a highly personal, visual language in a physical form. In a society that often prioritizes verbal and symbolic communication, the artists in this exhibition realize alternative means of communication – the rich nuance language which exists in the shape of a mark, the pressure of a line, a color choice, and the subtlety of the spaces between. As technology continues to reshape our modes of communication, it is essential to acknowledge the limitations of symbolic language alone.
