“Ukraine’s Bjork” Mariana Sadovska is a folk song collector, vocalist, actress, composer, indefatigable activist for a free Ukraine.

Mariana Sadovska and members of Kitka will join forces for a short performance of music from Ukraine, followed by a community sing in which Sadovska will teach a selection of soulful Ukrainian songs in lush multi-part harmony.

Singers of all ages, backgrounds, and levels of experience are welcome! All songs will be taught by ear.

Proceeds from this event will benefit Warm Up Ukraine, a project of The Leleka Foundation, a Bay Area non-profit organization that has helped front-line medical professionals save lives in Ukraine since 2014.
