Light up Hanukkah with a day of art, stories, and wonder at The CJM. Enjoy a range of humorous and playful activities connecting with familiar traditions, including a Hanukkah cabaret featuring the funniest Hanukkah sing-a-long with bandleader Marc Capelle, readings of favorite Hanukkah tales with Shabbos queen Miss Shugana, an “ugliest menorah” contest with New Lehrhaus, a talk with author Adam Mansbach, and more.

We also invite you to discover how light informs our lives and traditions through tours of First Light: Rituals of Glass and Neon Art and Radiant Practices: Illuminating Jewish Traditions, presenting awe-inspiring glass and neon artworks and Jewish ritual objects.
