The Story: The most vivid memories I (Mila Ryk) have of my childhood were the many days I spent painting, sculpting and drawing. My immigration from Ukraine to the Unites States changed many things for me. I am thankful for the opportunity to do something I love and be able to express myself in a way that is, I hope, inspirational to others.
Inspired by Art Nouveau and amazed by endlessness beauty and variety of Orchids, I developed a unique style and technique, which gave me ability to share my vision and feelings with a viewers. I named my style, Imaginary Impressionism. I unite line work of figures, brush strokes, colors and nature in one single form of harmony and beauty. Most of my paintings are done in oil, which is my favorite medium.
My artwork has found a home in many private and corporate collections in the USA, Germany, and Israel.
