LACP proudly announces its 7th Annual Fundraising Gala and Auction at the W Hotel in Hollywood. This year’s event will be a hybrid experience including a cocktail party, award ceremony, photography panel, deejay, photo auction and live stream.

LACP is excited to honor seminal celebrity photographer Greg Gorman with the prestigious Stieglitz award. Susan Spiritus, whose gallery has been supporting photographers for over 46 years, will be honored with the Spark Award, dedicated to professionals who transformed the field and the lives of photographers. And this year, LACP will also introduce an Emerging Voices and the JEDI Award (Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion). This year’s awardee for Emerging Voices is Adali Schell. Past Stieglitz winners include Mona Kuhn and Art Streiber.

This star-studded event will attract photographers, industry luminaries and illustrious faculty of the LACP. The Gala includes an auction, available via Artsy.net, featuring over 170 outstanding photographs generously donated from world-renowned photographers. Participating photographers include: Sam Abell, Kwaku Alston, Elinor Carucci, Mitch Dobrowner, Greg Gorman, Mark Edward Harris, Michael Kenna, Joe McNally, Arno Rafael Minkkinen, Ibarionex Perello, Josephine Sacabo, Aline Smithson, Art Streiber, Joyce Tenneson, Nevada Wier, Stephen Wilkes, and many more. Titled Advances and Declines, the participants in this year’s auction explore issues and moments of decay and growth, of forward-facing motion and unpredictable shifts that define and change lives.
