Over the past decade guitarist Justin Rock has cut a brilliant swath across the Bay Area music scene. Involved in far too many bands and projects to be pinned down in any particular style, he’s known for elevating whatever musical context he’s inhabiting. As an improviser and composer, Rock has distinguished himself with a series of well-conceived albums, such as 2021’s Feed the Feed by his Golden Age Ensemble.
