GatherNYC continues its Sunday morning concert series at the Museum of Arts and Design in Columbus Circle, presenting cellist and vocalist Marika Hughes with guitarist Kyle Sanna.
Marika Hughes is a native New Yorker, a cellist, a singer, and a storyteller on The Moth, described by All About Jazz as a musician who “makes a joyful noise at the intersection of classical, jazz and experimental avenues.”
Hailed by The New Yorker as a “first-rate, versatile musician”, guitarist Kyle Sanna’s musical practice includes composition, improvisation, the recording studio, coding, and the traditional music of Ireland.
