Get ready to celebrate the Lunar New Year with a visual performance of multidimensional sounds by solo guitarist Thien An Nguyen. Hailing from Vietnam, Nguyen explores the cross-cultural, expressive possibilities of percussive fingerstyle guitar. This singular performance will blend bilingual vocals, original compositions, and traditional Vietnamese tunes with pop, R&B, and rock classics.
Art lovers can enjoy an evening of open galleries from 6-9 PM. See Liliana Porter: Actualidades / Breaking News and Nuts and Who’s: A Candy Store Sampler before the exhibitions close on February 19, 2024. The Museum Store is also open late, and stop by El Cafecito by Mezcal Restaurant for light bites and refreshments.
