In this online course, producer Jef Stott will give in depth instruction into digital DJing software as well as demonstrating using your laptop and effects in a solo live performance setting or with an ensemble on stage. DJing topics will include cueing tracks, beatmatching, effects, creating samples and one shots and more. Live PA refers to the technique that began in Jamaica with DJs working with live musicians, singers and MCs. This is a very powerful way to combine DJ culture and live performance. This will also be explored in detail in this course.
