Creative Underground Los Angeles continues their summer residency at the Blue Whale with a wild night of music, film, art, and comedy curated by John Skipp and Gavin Templeton.

Featuring Music

PLOTZ! – Hardcore-Balkan-Jazz-Rock

Featuring Short Films

… and a film by Michael Granberry (TBA)

Bizzarro Stand-Up Comedy by Cody Goodfellow (who may smoke a book that night in his Info-Bong), an artistic tribute to Frank Zappa.

Writers Ben Loory and Laura Lee Bahr will be performing …

Bill Shafer of Hyaena Gallery is providing 8 pieces from artist Sean Madden’s one-man show, FREAK OUT! It’s a tribute to Los Angeles art god Frank Zappa.

Also showing at the Blue Whale will be paintings by Los Angeles artists D.W. Frydendall, Gidget Gein, Shawn Dickinson, James Bonner, Brian Smith, and Harold Fox. This will be a phenomenal exhibit of painting and sculpture, for this show only.

It’s definitely gonna be a wild night!
