At the East Palo Alto Library, Poetess Kalamu Chaché offers a monthly poetworkshop for those who desire to learn basic poetic techniques to write their own poems-o-celebrate the occasions in their lives. In an hour and a half session, the East Palo Alto Poet Laureate personally works with each participant to assist in the original creation of a poem written by the participant. At the end of the session a copy of the completed work is collected by Poetess Chaché to be included in a wall exhibit display that she maintains at the East Palo Alto Library.
