Come visit the David Ireland House for a special Artist Guide Tour from Wednesday through Saturday at 11am, 2pm, 4pm.
500 Capp Street, the David Ireland House, is the home and archive of the late Bay Area conceptual artist David Ireland, now a museum. It features 3-4 exhibitions per year highlighting a rotating selection from the estate comprised of over 2000 objects, as well as programmed music, lecture and art events.
The House is Ireland’s most industrious and seminal work; a site-specific sculpture that embodies his art + life sensibilities and minimal aesthetics.
Tours are approximately 90 minutes and led by trained Artist Guides from the Bay Area’s thriving art, performance and music community. No two tours are alike; these conversational-style tours will leave you inspired.
