Summer Wheat and Artistic Director Jeremiah Matthew Davis co-teach this master class on techniques for collaboration between visual and performing artists. Drawing on Summer’s project of responding to old master works, students will draw inspiration from visual sources to create specific characters and rich performance environments. This course seeks to instill the tools and vocabulary necessary to collaborate with artists of varied and diverse disciplines. Students can expect an active, rigorous, and supportive classroom experience. Some familiarity with visual or performance practice and/or art/performance history preferred. This master class runs from 6-9 p.m. on May 26, 31, and June 2.
