Founded at Stanford University in 1989, Talisman is an a cappella group dedicated to the sharing of stories through song. Originally founded to sing music from the anti-apartheid movement in South Africa, Talisman has since expanded to include music from cultural traditions from all around the world.
For this concert, Talisman welcomes back alumni from the past 25 years to perform the music that has brought so many people together. The concert will also feature performances from the South African touring company of MADIBANESS led by Sipho Mnyakeni, featuring Anele and Neliswa Mxakaza from Idols South Africa.
All are welcome to this wonderful night of celebration, tradition, and music.
