Debussy’s La Mer evokes the sea in all its moods; Vaughan Williams’ Norfolk Rhapsody draws on music of people who live their life by the sea. Star percussionist Britton-Rene Collins brings out the Brazilian rhythms and South American melodies of Rosauro’s Marimba Concerto. Music Director Barbara Yahr and Associate Conductor Eric Mahl share the podium.
