The talented Los Angeles pianist, singer and songwriter celebrates Joni Mitchell’s beloved 1974 folk rock-meets-jazz classic with an excellent band.
Born to a musical family as the daughter of a trumpet player and music educator father, Galisatus began piano studies at five, ultimately studying piano performance and composition at Stanford before beginning her professional career. Her most recent compositions draw from the rich folk music and singer-songwriter traditions, heard on her debut album Without Night. The focus on these traditions makes her the perfect artist to celebrate Mitchell’s enduring influence and the music on her sixth and most successful album.
