Isidra Mencos will give advice on how to create a book launch that attracts an audience.
Isidra is the author of Promenade of Desire-A Barcelona Memoir, a silver medal winner of the IPPY Awards for Best European Nonfiction 2022, and numerous other honors.
Isidra holds a Ph.D. in Spanish and Latin American Contemporary Literature from the UC Berkeley, where she taught Spanish language, literature, and creative writing.
Isidra’s essays and articles have been published in Dialogo, WIRED, Chicago Quarterly Review, Front Porch Journal, The Penmen Review, and Stirring Literary Journal, among others.
Her essay, “My Books and I,” was listed as Notable in The Best American Essays 2019.
