The season closes with a musical trip through Spain led by conductor José Luis Gomez and featuring Gabriela Lena Frank’s “Escaramuza”, and Joaquín Rodrigo’s “Concierto de Aranjuez” performed by guitarist Rafael Aguirre. It is Rodrigo’s best-known work and it cemented his reputation as one of Spain’s most significant composers. We’ll also view the Iberian Peninsula through the lens of two “visiting” composers, Maurice Ravel (French) and Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov (Russian) and hear how each portrayed Spanish music through their distinct writing styles.

AND…join us for an unforgettable special event one hour prior to the concert. Indulge in delicious Spanish tapas and sip on refreshing sangria while enjoying a mesmerizing flamenco dance show. Immerse yourself in the passionate atmosphere of Spain.

*Special Youth Price: Tickets for concert goers, age 17 and under, are discounted up to 50% when purchased along with a full-price ticket.
