San Francisco Opera returns to the beloved Frost Amphitheater with Verdi’s take on Shakespeare’s The Merry Wives of Windsor and Henry IV. Bryn Terfel, the “definitive” Falstaff of our day (Chicago Tribune), stars in this wistful comedy which will be simulcast live from the War Memorial Opera House to Stanford, projected on a large screen under the stars. Music Director Nicola Luisotti conducts.
