Júlio Resende will present “Fado Jazz—Sons of Revolution,” featuring the exceptional Bruno Chaveiro on Portuguese guitar. This concert will be an extraordinary blend of jazz and traditional Portuguese fado, spotlighting the remarkable skills of both musicians.

On April 25, 2024, Portugal will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the “Carnation Revolution”. In honor of this celebration, CALuso, in cooperation with the Portuguese Consulate in San Francisco, will host a special concert of Julio Resende, acclaimed Portuguese Jazz pianist, who will debut of songs from his most recent album “Sons of the Revolution” at a performance at SF Jazz on April 7, 2024 at 4:00 PM.
