Harpist Megan Conley brings her Ocean Music Action project to GatherNYC with a concert and volunteer day of climate action. Using the transformative power of music, Conley curates a concert with music inspired by the natural world. Megan, formerly the principal harpist of the Houston Symphony now living in Honolulu, will be joined by several of her esteemed colleagues from The Knights for a special program honoring mother earth. Guests at GatherNYC, a revolutionary Sunday morning concert experience, are served exquisite live classical music performed by New York’s immensely talented artists, artisanal coffee and pastries, a taste of spoken word, and a brief celebration of silence.
