New London Drone Orchestra performs intentional and random acts of resonance in its Hartford debut.
The New London Drone Orchestra is a diverse collective of Connecticut musicians and sound artists that creates meditative, minimal, gradually evolving music that causes listeners to forget their to-do lists and feel outside time or unusually present.
The Wherehouse performance will be the Orchestra’s Hartford debut and features a program of “intentional and random acts of resonance” inspired by planets, games of chance, swimming and more. The evening will include collaborations with Hartford-area visual artists incorporating live projections and sculptural improvisation.
