- SUN, JUN 2: Artist Reception
- FRI, MAY 24-JUL 17: Exhibition
The exhibition includes monoprints and artists’ books which celebrate the 50 trillion cells in every human body, the entire ecosystem of our planet and the Universe – all space, time, matter and energy. The invented organisms express Manske’s exploration of wonder, beauty, interconnectedness, reason, traits, healing, evolution and death. Making imaginary cells gives the artist hope that creativity and intelligence will prevail over the destruction of species biodiversity. He uses both traditional and digital printmaking and book publishing processes to create one-of-a-kind and limited-edition works on paper.
