Nicolas Bearde, an acclaimed recording artist, embodies a mesmerizing blend of soul, jazz, and charisma honed over his 35-year career. Hailing from Nashville, Tennessee, and raised among seven siblings, Bearde’s journey from humble beginnings to international stages alongside jazz greats is a testament to his enduring talent. Often likened to legends like Lou Rawls and Nat King Cole, Bearde’s “velvet voice” and captivating charm create unforgettable live experiences that transcend borders and genres.
Bearde’s voice is savory and warm, with occasional sand. The vocalist is easy going, sympathetic and thoughtful, and his jazz inflection is respectful of the melodies. He breathes lyrics.

Jazz on the Plazz will run from June 26 through August 21 with a different jazz program each Wednesday night at 6:30 PM.
*General admission is free. This outdoor summer concert series presents world-renowned musicians in a friendly picnic atmosphere. Bring a picnic basket and a lawn chair and enjoy free seating or purchase reserved seating and specialty foods and wine online.
