Jennifer Nugent is a performer, educator, mother, and partner. She articulates internal experiences through performance and teaching; augmenting these practices by sharing and refining ideas in front of others—a transmission of spoken and gestural language. Her dancing is profoundly inspired by Daniel Lepkoff, Wendell Beavers, Bambi Anderson, Gerri Houlihan, Dale Andree, Patty Townsend, Lisa Race, Janet Wong, Bill T. Jones, Barbara Sloan, Linda Rogers Albritton, Ann Cummings, Patricia Cummings, and Beatrice LaVerne.
Shira Yaziv is a dancer, teacher, bodyworker, and facilitator. She enjoys encouraging people to be in their bodies while learning new skills, being creative, listening and adapting to the changing present moment. Shira is the co-founder and owner of Athletic Playground, a dynamic indoor space, inspiring physical play through a wide variety of movement classes. She offers private sessions, group classes, workshops, bodywork sessions and retreats.
