Experience the inspiring story of Kazuhiro Omura, also known as “Dr. Bala.”
The word Bala, meaning “powerful” in Burmese, perfectly encapsulates Omura’s journey as he works to improve Southeast Asian medical care. A history of genocide, natural disasters and other calamities has left medical care systems with a shortage of skilled doctors, infrastructure and supplies. Dr. Bala has left lasting impressions on doctors, patients and friends, inspiring them to find their own power and unfolding a message of hope in a world plagued with grief.
*Please Note: Seating is first come, first served. No advanced tickets are available. Face masks are strongly recommended inside Tateuchi Hall. Seating is limited. Due to ongoing COVID-19 concerns, concert details are subject to change.
