Artist and curator A. Laura Brody and award-winning and internationally exhibited multidisciplinary artist and queer and trans disability activist Brontë Grimm will discuss their artistic trajectories, aesthetic practices, and experience as a disabled, queer, trans artist working today. Grimm is a featured artist in Brody’s group show, Opulent Mobility, which will be on display at USC’s Hoyt Gallery at the Health Sciences Campus.

Brontë Grimm is an award-winning and internationally exhibited narrative photographer, multidisciplinary artist, filmmaker, and Jewish queer trans disability activist whose artwork focuses on initiating a dialogue about issues facing the disabled via a Jewish and queer lens. They were the recent subject of the short documentary Kathryne: Uncensored, where they discussed accessibility in the arts, and their artwork has been published in various literary journals.
