It’s finally here: the kickoff release concert for Cathlene’s second album released on Orenda Records!
“Passing: A California Suite” was written after a commission received by the Los Angeles Jazz Society to compose a piece about Los Angeles. The music is inspired by the poetry of LA’s first poet-laureate, Eloise Klein- Healy, and each piece is based off of an excerpt of her work.
