Carlos Whisper is born out of the interaction between two “music concrete” inspired projects: For a Flat and ASMR Yourself. For a Flat is a composition of field recordings and instrumental music portraying a domestic aural environment in both its mundane and surreal layers. ASMR Yourself is a series of sound-based performances inspired by the ASMR phenomenon and the idea of sonic triggers. Carlos Whisper combines these sonic worlds to play with the idea of intimacy/proximity in form of a live performance.
