The Church of Saint Joseph was established in 1850 by the late Archbishop of New York, John Hughes. The parish is located in the beautiful Prospect Heights section of Brooklyn.
Initially founded to serve the vast immigrant population fleeing the Irish famine 1846-1852, St Joseph’s continues to meet the needs of immigrants from places as far away as Manhattan and Queens.
We would be pleased if you would join us for the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, volunteer efforts to improve our community, prayers and devotion, quiet time and/or fellowship.
