Jazzkerho 76, Joensuu ry was founded by its name in 1976. So for more than thirty years the association has been active in jazz music in Joensuu and North Karelia. After much enthusiasm for the first few years of operation, the activity sometimes faded, but was revived in 1987 in the wake of the musical “North Karelia Project”, which was co-operated with the Joensuu Conservatory in Joensuu.
