Composer/electronic musician George Hurd performs with his electro-acoustic group, The Hurd Ensemble. Playing as a trio for this show, they’ll perform his pieces for piano, cello and electronics. Adventurous, hyper-rhythmic and evocative, Hurd’s music fixates on memory and location in music, using electronic sounds recorded on his extensive travels, each encapsulating a specific memory from a place and time.
