Quartetto Fantastico, one of Los Angeles’ most adventurous string quartets featuring Miguel Atwood-Ferguson, Chris Woods, Paul Cartright, and Peter Jacobson joins forces with Arohi’s ragajazz ventures for a night of spirited genre-bending rhythms and improvisations. Also featuring Paul Livingstone, Dave Lewis, and Miles Shrewsberry.
This is a benefit concert for the Soul Force Festival at the same location premiering on Earth Day Weekend; April 26, 27, 28. A weekend of ritual world music celebrating the relevance of nonviolent action and climate change consciousness.
