Arman is part of a remarkable generation of young pianists that have emerged over the past decade as a force on the classical music scene, revitalizing the genre for a new generation. His directed and powerful-yet lyrical-approach to the piano brings to mind and captures the spirit of the masters of the past and shows the true passion of the music of Chopin, Liszt and Rachmaninoff. Arman’s playing embodies the spirit of the Romantic era of the 19th century in contemporary form, making his first apperance at the SFJAZZ Center the perfect venue for the presentation of classical music to a new generation.
