Springfest is an annual festival of experimental music presented by the graduate students from the UC San Diego Department of Music—the premier center on the West Coast for experimental and new music.
A concert that explores registral limits and compositions that navigate them. UCSD graduate flutists will perform piccolo music by Kaija Saariaho, Hilda Paredes and Mario Lavista, along with premieres of chamber music by Jessie Downs, Nick Deyoe and Wilfrido Terrazas.
