Performing Valeska: a dance theater solo based on the life of avant-garde actor dancer Valeska Gert will be presented as part of the Above Ground Theater Festival co-produced by Footloose Productions and Mojo Theatre.

Performing Valeska is a dance theater solo based on the life of avant garde actor dancer Valeska Gert. Finding her moment in 1920’s Berlin, Valeska rose to fame with wild dance solos interpreting the bustling city life of the Weimar era. Come back to the roaring ’20’s and see a resurrection of this eccentric artist live in the 21st century!
