Grammy-nominated organist Pat Bianchi, a Downbeat rising star and Hot House magazine poll winner, has established himself as one of the premier organists on the international scene today. His command of the instrument, harmonic prowess, rhythmic intensity, and versatility are rivaled by few. Bianchi officially joined The Lou Donaldson’s quartet in 2009. Continuing to play with Lou, Bianchi also joined Pat Martino’s trio in 2011 and was an integral member of his band until 2018. Bianchi has also performed with many other jazz greats including Red Holloway, George Coleman, Terell Stafford and Joe Locke. Pat has released eight CD’s as a leader and is also a featured artist on over 30 recordings. His most recent release on Savant Records, “Something To Say” The Music Of Stevie Wonder fuses iconic music with unique and creative organ trio arrangements. For this concert, Bianchi will pay homage to Joey DeFrancesco as well as Dr. Lonnie Smith who we also lost recently.
