Noor (meaning light), The Path of Light is a collaboration with Pandit Swapan Chaudhuri, a leading tabla master of our time and the Lian Ensemble, the virtuosic Iranian musical group featuring Houman Pourmehdi, Pirayeh Pourafar, Alireza Shahmohamadi, and Mani Bolouri. Noor will explore modern connections between two art forms with ancient ties. The performance will open with the Chitresh Das Youth Company, featuring choreography by Charlotte Moraga.
