Trumpet player Dave Douglas has remained insanely active since his international entrance in the nineties (with John Zorns Masada and his own projects).
With Uplift, the committed Douglas comes up. The project calls for improvement and coherence, carried out by a sextet that appeals to the imagination. Douglas brought musicians with different backgrounds and ages together, who are united by a character and a predilection for improvisation and experiment.
