This class will be a combination of lecture and practical application that will cover the basics for both dancers and choreographers. Fundamentals of choreography to include: movement invention, structure, music, theme, and inspiration. Learn to communicate clearly with stage technicians and other artists. Learn to adapt existing choreography to new stage spaces. Workshop will include an opportunity for a question and answer period. Please bring comfortable clothes for movement, pen and paper, and water. Knee-pads (optional).
