The Black Choreographers Festival: Here & Now (BCF) kicks off its 20th anniversary celebrations at the Museum of the African Diaspora (MoAD). Highlights include an exhibition of visual artifacts; a panel discussion with Dr. Halifu Osumare, Joanna Haigood, Robert Moses, Raissa Simpson and Dazaun Soleyn; and a series of site-specific performances choreographed by Soleyn and Algin “Align” Ford, including live musical accompaniment by saxophonist Jordon Dabney. The panel discussion takes place on Friday, February 7 at 7 PM. The performances follow the next day at 12 PM, 2 PM, 4 PM.
