Dead & Company’s Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzmann, John Mayer, Bob Weir, Oteil Burbridge and Jeff Chimenti announced today a free concert for fans, friends and family at San Francisco’s historic Fillmore.
For those who receive tickets, the band asks in return that they “pay it forward” in some way, large or small. Please share your good deeds and generosity with us, and let the cosmos know how you are paying it forward, by using the hashtag #DeadAndCoSF.
Following the pay it forward show, Dead & Company’s 2016 Summer tour will kick-off on the East Coast on June 10 and will wrap-up back in the Bay Area with the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View on July 30. The group’s cross-country run features two nights at Citi Field in New York; a two show independence day weekend celebration at Folsom Field in Boulder, Colorado; two nights at the famous Alpine Valley Music Theatre in East Troy, Wisconsin; and two shows at Boston’s iconic Fenway Park and more. On the tour, Grateful Dead’s Hart, Kreutzmann and Weir; Mayer; Allman Brothers’ bassist Burbridge; and “Fare Thee Well” and RatDog keyboardist Chimenti will perform two sets of music drawing from the Dead’s historic catalog of songs.
PLEASE NOTE:
- There is a two-ticket limit per customer and billing address.
- All orders over the ticket limit WILL BE CANCELLED.
- This includes duplicate orders having the same name, billing address or credit card.
- This concert is a “WILL CALL ONLY” event.
- Each customer will need to bring their government issued photo ID and credit card used to reserve the tickets to The Fillmore on day of show to redeem the tickets.
- Once the ticket order is redeemed, the customer must directly enter The Fillmore.
- All will call tickets must be picked up by the card holder ONLY.
- Alternate names for will call will not be permitted.
- You cannot leave tickets at will call to be picked up by someone else.
- All tickets left unclaimed at will call by 8:30 p.m. will be forfeited.
