You are invited to see and hear music played by the greatest pianists from 100 years ago come to life from the rolls and recently restored instruments from our Player Piano Project. These historic recordings will change how you hear some of the best known music played in concert halls today.

The Player Piano Project at Stanford was launched in September 2014 with the arrival of the Denis Condon Collection of Player Pianos and Rolls. Our speakers will explain how Stanford plans to make the music from piano rolls widely available for research and to the general public. We will also let you know how you can help to support this exciting new initiative.
